How did you become interested in your current program or coursework?
I became interested after I felt a need to help others who were sick. I wanted to do what I could to help them heal.
What do you like most about your program or coursework?
What I like most about the Practical Nursing program was that it was truly “practical”. The Instructors were very proficient and skillful about the way they taught, the facility was a conducive for learning which created an overall great learning experience for me.
Why did you pick the center/college you’re attending?
I picked McFatter because it was closer to my residence and that other students expressed to me how great their course of study was.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I have already graduated and now serve as the Outpatient Clinic Manager for an acute Rehabilitation Hospital.
What advice would you give someone thinking about a career in your field?
The advice I would give to someone thinking about a career in my field would be to go ahead. If they love to see people feel better, do better and be better, especially in their health, this career may certainly be the one to enter into.
What does “Career in a Year” mean to you?
“Career in a Year,” A term I did not think about until now, means prepare oneself to serve tomorrow’s world beginning today with little or no time to waste.
