How did you become interested in your current program or coursework?
I have always had a passion for the medical field and for helping people in need. My grandparents died when my father was a young child. I always said that if I could so something to help children keep their parents and grandparents around longer, that is what I wanted to do!
What do you like most about your program or coursework?
I like the ability to be able to talk one-on-one with my instructors who have had years of experience in the field.
Why did you pick the center/college you’re attending?
I was impressed with the vast experience that the instructors have to offer and their willingness to help their students learn.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I plan to go on to nursing school and eventually to become a Physician’s Assistant.
What advice would you give someone thinking about a career in your field?
This career is challenging. However, the experience that you gain during the program will definitely make you a stronger individual, both physically and emotionally… and it’s rewarding to help others.
What does “Career in a Year” mean to you?
The ability to quickly gain the professional skills needed for the rest of my life.
